Installing
- Open the downloaded Surrealism.dmg.
- Drag Surrealism onto the Applications folder.
- Open Surrealism from your Applications folder.
Turning on the screensaver
Installing the app doesn't switch your screensaver by itself — you turn it on from inside the app:
- In Surrealism, find the Screensaver section and click Set as Screensaver. This installs it into macOS and turns it on in one step.
- If macOS asks you to confirm, choose Surrealism under System Settings ▸ Screen Saver.
- You can preview it or switch back anytime from Screen Saver settings — the app's Screen Saver Settings button opens it for you.
